The Spartans started quick and went on to win easily 52-12.

The Madison Eagles would jump out to a 15-0 lead and held on to defeat Marine City 21-15.
The defense came up huge for Madison as Earnest Chauncey scored on a 60 yard interception return.
But Marine City never quit as they hit on a trick play as Ethan Dattillo took a toss back pass from Colby Walker and then hit Aren Sopfe with a touchdown strike.
Marine City would score on a short touchdown run and added a two point conversion to tie the game

Head Coach James Rogers said “the defense came up big and the INT return was a key play in helping us to victory.
As far as the winning touchdown by Brown Rogers said ” Austin always has the green light to run when they’re set up in a zone defense. He saw an opportunity and took off and scored. Thats what makes him so special ” he’s very athletic and smart added Rogers.
“This was a huge win” concluded Rogers.
Brown said “our sophomore receiver Troye Williams is a special player, you throw the ball and he will go get it “added Brown.
“Our defense was great once again tonight” concluded Brown.
