Head Coach Richard Popp begins his third season as Lake Shore head coach and has high expectations.
“We improved from 1-8 to 4-5 and look to keep the trend going”Said Popp. We expect to make the playoffs,contend for the gold division and we will compete in all nine games . We had a great off-season and an awesome training camp so far” added Popp.
Quarterback Brandon Taters will lead the offense. Ja’Sean Green is an explosive weapon as a wide receiver and kick returner. Green a great athlete will play cornerback on defense.
The Shorians have size led by Anthony Marsiglio. Marsiglio will play both sides of the ball and at 6 foot five 245 will be a force to be reckoned with.
Twins Christian and Mikey Gaiera will see double duty as running backs and linebackers and bring a lot of energy on both sides of the ball.
I’m super excited for the season to start and so are the players” concluded Popp.
Lake Shore opens the season at home vs Port Huron Northern.
